Welcome, my name is Cath.  Sometimes we need someone in our corner to help us through.  I have worked with men and women on a variety of issues, including suicidal thoughts, anxiety, grief and depression. I have also worked with people who have suffered trauma - at home or at work - domestic violence and PTSD.  In these areas I can offer both talking therapy or EMDR therapy.

Counselling can help you understand what changes you can make to feel strong again.

Life can blindside us, and while we cannot predict the outcome, we can be in control of how we respond to them.  Counselling brings you time and safe space so you can understand your own private thoughts, and how to get through life by using your own intuition.

You are not broken, you can move towards change and find your own way through, in a safe space.

I have therapy rooms in Freshfield, Southport and Liverpool.

I can also work online so you can stay at home whilst we work together.



Support in your home

I offer talking therapy (counselling) and EMDR therapy to help you overcome feelings that are stopping you from feeling strong.



How might counselling help at this time?

Being in isolation or on the front line during this time bring its own emotional challenges and increase anxieties. During Covid most counsellors can still support you during this time. We can work online or at a safe distance in my therapy room. If you prefer, I provide face shields so we can talk easily. 

You may feel that you need emotional support regardless of what`s happening in the wider world, or even more so because of what’s happening right now with Covid.

If you feel that you would like to talk to someone, I am able to offer single or regular counselling sessions so that you can talk over your feelings or have a little space to think freely, during this difficult and strange time we are experiencing.

What technology do I need?

Sessions will be via SKYPE or online via Zoom.  We can talk in a face to face way.  We can use headphones for added privacy.

We will do a quick test that your camera on your laptop or PC is working so that we can connect.

For us to work together, you can create a quiet space for yourself to talk freely and without interruption online.
